How to Steam Potatoes

Steaming is one of the best ways to cook potatoes. When you steam vegetables and potatoes, you add no fat or calories, plus colors stay fresh. Use this method for corn on the cob, too.

In a large saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat. Add the potatoes, cover and steam for about 10 to 12 minutes or until tender.
