Video Transcript: How to Boil Eggs

Hi! I'm Chef Danni, and I’ve got a great tip for you on how to boil eggs. What I like to do is take the eggs right from the carton and put them into a small saucepan. I then take cold water, cover the eggs with cold water … and here is a little trick: I like to add pinches of salt to the water so it makes the eggs peel easier once they cool down. Then I turn the stove on, bring the water to a boil and boil for 3 minutes. Turn off the heat and let the eggs cool in the water. When they’re cool enough to handle, simply lift them out of the water with a slotted spoon and crack them and enjoy.
