Hepatitis A: in selected states or regions and for high-risk groups, including international travelers, illegal drug users, and workers in the food service, health care or day-care industries

Tetanus-diphtheria: every 10 years, especially those ages 50 and older; complete series for adults who have not received the primary series: 3 doses, with first 2 doses at least 4 weeks apart and third dose 6-12 months after the second dose

Hepatitis B, Varicella: all young adults not previously immunized; ask your doctor if you are at high risk

Meningococcal: college freshmen who live on campus and other college students who wish to reduce their risk; military recruits, persons who travel to or live in countries in which meningitis is common; revaccination after 5 years for adults at high risk
Measles, mumps, rubella: for those younger than age 50 without proof of immunity or documentation of previous immunization; two doses for persons with occupational or other risk factors; rubella screening for all females of childbearing age

Pneumococcal: those younger than age 65 with chronic health conditions; revaccination may be needed after five years; once for ages 65 and older if vaccinated 5 or more years previously and were younger than 65 at the time

Influenza: yearly for health care workers, persons age 50 and older and people ages 21 to 49 who wish to reduce their risk
