What's on Your Mind: Identifying, Managing and Preventing Migraine

The Web seminar will last approximately 60 minutes, which will include a 45-minute presentation followed by a question and answer session. Our guest speaker is Dr. Frederick Freitag, Associate Director of the Diamond Headache Clinic in Chicago, Illinois.

Chronic Disease Self-Management Program for Older Adults
This is a six-week workshop held in community settings in selected areas in Maryland. People with different chronic health problems attend together. Workshops are led by trained non-health professionals who have a chronic condition.
Topics include:
- dealing with problems such as frustration, fatigue, pain and isolation
- exercise
- medication use
- communicating effectively with family, friends, and health professionals
- nutrition
- how to evaluate new treatments
